Will miss a giggle over a pint of John Smith's, crispy chicken, chips and curry sauce and putting the world to rights.
Love you always Malc.

How sorry I am to hear of Malcolm’s passing (known as Mal to his colleagues at work).

I had the pleasure of sharing an office with Mal for a while and found him to be very helpful and courteous.

He was one of the reasons, alongside his colleague Paul, why the blast furnaces were so successful.

Thank you Mal for your help and friendship, and for just being you!

My thoughts are with his family and close friends.

I'm very sorry to learn of Mal's passing.
Whilst we worked together at the Blast Furnaces ,we struck up a good working relationship and friendship.
We shared an office for a while in the 1990's.
He was a really nice guy and I do know his family meant the world to him.
He commanded a very good knowledge of old school practical refractory working.
Something we can't easily 'get back' today.

We shared stories of the Trent Valley , about old rural life. That too meant a lot to Mally.
Best of all , we always managed to have a good laugh together.

So, rest in peace Mal , you will be greatly missed, I do know.
Fond regards and my sincere condolences to all of his friends loved ones....
